We are coming up on Week 10 tomorrow May 1st!!! Yeah! We continue to talk to the baby and pray over it daily. I wish that I could look at it and hear it's heart beat whenever I wanted, but since I can't I am all the more eager for the next Doctor's appointment later in May. Sometimes it is very strange to think about a living baby being inside my stomach, but most of the time it just makes me smile.
The first trimester is reaching a close and as you can tell I haven't changed very much (as far as tummy size goes)! I am hungry about every 3 hours, I get tired in the middle of the day, nauseous at random times, and I am more moody. Andrew has been such a considerate husband with all these changes and I'm so grateful that he is quick to forgive my moody-tantrums. What a blessing he is!
I think I look like I am sleeping in the picture, but really I was just getting over one of my mini-mood swings and trying to calm down:)
My sister and I were laughing the other day after what one baby book said that I should monitor the television shows I watch while pregnant, so as to reduce stress and prevent a miscarriage. For example I shouldn't watch other women giving birth because of the trauma I witness. Today I was watching a bit of Supper Nanny and found myself getting a little stressed over some of those awfully behaved children. I didn't finish the program;)
Things are going well and we continue to look forward to the baby's arrival. We have also bought some new furniture to get ready for the baby and will be looking into a new place of residence for the same reason. Please continue to pray for the baby and the new changes that await us. Thank you for your support!
