Week 11

We are well into week 11 now and will be starting week 12 on Thursday:)

My stomach looks exactly the same as it did in the last picture, but we have provided a visual for you just the same.

Thankfully however, the nausea has pretty much subsided and I'm not as tired or hungry as I was before. But the bloating is still going strong!

This weekend Andrew and I were celebrating my birthday, our 2 year Anniversary and my technically-first Mother's Day at Inn of the Mountain Gods in Ruidoso. We had a great time walking around the beautiful mountain reservation, taking pictures, swimming, using the gym, eating way to much at their buffet and enjoying each other's company. They even gave me a red carnation in honor of me getting to celebrate Mother's Day:)

We did test out the casino for about an hour-ish and decided that gambling at the penny slots is defianetly boring and requires absolutely no skill. We had determined before going into the casino that we would only spend $5 and go in with the mindset that it was as good as gone. When the time came where we won $3.37 in profit we cashed out and bought a magnet and snacks with the winnings. Imagine, spend about an hour pushing a button and get $3.37 for it. Think about it: I could work at the hospital for about an hour, earn 7 times that and not worry about losing all the earnings...you could even earn $5.85 (the average minimum wage in US since 2007) for an hour and not worry about losing it. Plus maybe even have benefits tied to your job. I'm just saying... "The plans of the diligent lead to profit, as surely as haste leads to poverty." Proverbs 21:5

OK, so I have splurged and started purchasing maternity clothes, even though my pants just fit a little too tight, I bought the cutest baby calendar that we can start filling out after the baby comes:), as well as cross-stitch patterns that can be framed and put up in the babies room. Do you think I'm a little excited? I should be, right? I'm going to be a Mom!
