And their off!

We have just started in on Week 14 for the baby! What an exciting time!

Cameron has put on another pound since our last prenatal check-up giving her a total of 4 pounds gained since we found out about Baby Dye. Her tummy is getting more round (at least in her eyes!) and morning sickness type issues are passing. The last bout of nausea was yesterday, but I think that was because work was stressful and I get nauseous over things like that on a good day:) I still feel very babied (no pun intended) because friends, family and strangers try to help me do things constantly. Especially at work: my co-workers remind me through out the whole 12 hour shift that I need to eat and feed the baby! I don't mind listening to those kinds of orders.

Passing me in this weight race is Andrew! He has lost 5 pounds thus far! He told me that he had to get a head start on me, because come the second and third trimester he doesn't think he will be able to lose 10-12 pounds every month. I think he will. I am so proud of him.

Here is his first official tummy picture.

Something that we have both done to aid in taking care of the baby and ourselves is to cut out all fast food (except Subway and Quiznos) as well as sodas from our diets. We are trying to plan our meals ahead of time so that they are well balanced and less sporadic. I am also exploring more organic options for eating to help eliminate pesticides and preservatives from what we eat. Lastly we are trying to go to the gym most days of the week too.

We are works in progress:)

Wouldn't it be crazy if we were expecting twins? I was reading testimonials on-line about women who went in for an ultrasound at 7 weeks, were told that they were pregnant with one baby, and then 13 weeks later the next ultrasound detected twins! This was an experience mentioned by many women and now I have prepared myself for the possibility:) It's a long shot but I do have two sets of twins on my Dad's side of the family. We shall see... please observe the pictoral exhibit below of Baby Dye... look at each angle of him/her.

I don't know about you, but I have started to imagine that on the last picture you see above, there could be another baby "hiding" behind that white mass they say is the placenta and that could be his little foot sticking out. What do you think?
